We’d like to thank the incredible Meatpaper community — the
readers, writers, booksellers, artists, farmers, food artisans,
restaurant proprietors, chefs, brewers, distillers, winemakers — for
your donations of valuable time and beautiful ingredients as
well as subscription dollars. You have taken part in our events
or graciously hosted us in your spaces, and from this a truly
special community has come together around our publication.
Our mission is to document and facilitate conversations about
the ethics, aesthetics, and cultural significance of meat,
as well as the environmental issues related to meat production.
We are deeply committed to independent journalism and have
never adapted our editorial content to suit any commercial
interests. In 2010, we plan to grow Meatpaper and expand our
operations as well as our education and community initiatives.
We kindly ask all who are able
to help us make possible the projects that will take Meatpaper
into the next phase. And, if you donate $150 or more, we’ll mail you a gift: a
handmade, limited edition Meatpaper print (see graphic above)
designed by Rebecca Macri. We hope you’ll consider supporting
our work, and we thank you in advance.

All the best in the New Year,
Your friends at Meatpaper
